Ribera del Duero
Reserva is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, harvested in the second week of October. In the cellar they are destemmed and macerated on the skins for 15 days at a controlled temperature, after which the skins are removed and the juice is fermented in stainless steel for 8 days at a temperature between 22 - 24°C. The wine is then decanted and refined for 18 months in 80% French and 20% American new oak barrels. After bottling the wine is left to rest for an additional 24 months. This Riserva has a beautiful black cherry color with aromas of toast and sweet vanilla. It has a full-bodied taste with well-integrated tannis. A great complement to any grand meal as well as red meats and game. Serve at room temperature. |
