Tinto ROA Crianza

Ribera del Duero

Crianza is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, harvested in the first week of October.  In the cellar they are destemmed and macerated on the skins for 12 days at a controlled temperature, after which the skins are removed and the juice is  fermented in stainless steel for 8 days at a temperature between 22 - 24°C.  The wine is then decanted and  refined for 12 months in 60% French and 40% American oak barrels, ranging in age from new to three years old. After bottling the wine is left to rest for an additional 12 months.  Crianza has a beautiful black cherry color with aromas of ripe fruits and berries and an hints of vanilla. It's full-bodied richness makes it a fine partner to hardy dishes and grilled and roasted meats.  Serve at room temperature.
