Le XI (Undici) Terre

The wines of Le XI Terre come from vineyards in the surrounding areas of Verona one of Italy’s leading sources of DOC wines: Soave Classico from the hillside town of Soave south-east of Verona, Bardolino and Corvina Veronese the hilly wine zone of Sommacampagna commune of Lake Garda, and Valpolicella and Amarone from the steeply terraced hillside vineyards in the heart of the commune of Fumane overlooking Verona.

The winery was established over 50 years ago and with meticulous attention paid to each phase of production has led to the recognition of their wines as excellent examples of the Veronese winemaking tradition.  In keeping with the adage that great wines are created in the vineyard quality control ranks high, from maintaining the number of vines per hectare, to the choice of vine training systems and selective pruning of the vines in order to ensure the highest quality of the fruit, to the micro-irrigation system that allows each plant to have sufficient water whatever the prevailing weather.  In the cellar special care is taken through every phase of the winemaking process, from the gentle soft pressing of the grapes to the vinification process and temperature controlled atmosphere, to the aging and bottling and maintaining the wines in the most perfect condition during storage, all culminating in a beautiful glass of wine in your hand as a fine accompaniment to your meal or to simply enjoy as a sipping wine.
