Tinto Joven


Joven, meaning young, is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, and harvested in mid October.  In the cellar they are destemmed and macerated on the skins for 7 days at a controlled temperature.  The skins are then removed and the juice is fermented in stainless steel for 2 months, after which the wine is decaned and bottled and left to rest for an additional two months before release.  Joven has a ruby red color with aromas of black and red fruits and a deliciously smooth taste that's perfect with pizza, hors d'oeuvres,  grilled and roasted meats and medium flavored cheeses.  Serve at room temperature.
