Taburno Aglianico

Made from 100% Aglianico grapes, from the vineyard “Jazz” named after the ancient homestead and the main street, and hand harvested at the end of October/first week in November.  Maceration is done on the skins followed by vinification in stainless steel.  The wine is then transferred into barrique for 8-10 months aging after which it spends an additional 12 months aging in the bottle before release. This is a beautiful ruby red wine with aromas of dark fruits and stewed cherries and a delicate yet distinctive taste that’s dry, full-bodied and well-balanced.  Perfect with strong flavored foods such as game or other roasted meats.  Serve at room temperature.
