Cantine Monfort boasts a winemaking experience that dates back to 1945.It is an authentic family-run winery from Trentino Alto Adige which is now run by Lorenzo Simoni. It has a history of four generations and is based in Lavis, north of Trento. The grapes are cultivated by a system of integrated production which respects the natural biological balance.The wines, crafted from selected grapes, express great personality, elegance and distinct nose.

COMPOSITION 100% Pinot Grigio ORIGIN Trentino – Well-ventilated foothills of Trento and Lavis (up to 1.000 ft a.s.l.) GRAPE ANALYSIS Sugar: 21-21.5°B pH: 3.30 Total acidity: 7.5 g/ℓ VINIFICATION Harvest by hand, followed by de-stemming and a cold maceration for approximately 6 hours in stainless steel press-machine in a completely sealed environment. Fermentation took place in stainless tanks at a supervised temperature with selected yeasts. After fermentation the wine was kept on the primary lees for 4 months. BOTTLING DATE RELEASE DATE January 2014 ANALYSIS Residual Sugar: 3.0 g/ℓ. Alcohol: 13.0 vol%. pH: 3.40 Total Acidity: 6.60 g/ℓ TASTING NOTES Intense, fruity and spicy bouquet. On the palate is subtle, agreeable and well balanced. MATURATION Drink now.
