Révélation Premières Côtes De Blaye - Red

Thanks to winemaker Denis LaFon’s painstaking efforts of pruning and crop thinning, this beautiful wine is crafted entirely from vines that are 30 to 40 years old. Excess leaves are also removed from the vines to provide optimum ventilation for the grapes and to avoid any rotting. Made from 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec hand harvested grapes, traditionally vinified under controlled temperatures, and pumped over twice and day throughout the fermentation process. Once the vinification has been completed, the wine is aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months. It is released from the cellar two years after the harvest in heavy, numbered bottles. It has an intense bouquet of red fruit and the taste is soft and fruity with a long finish. This wine ages well. Complements red meats, game, and cheeses. Serve at room temperature.
